A friend and co-worker of mine, Abbey, has her own blog with some speech/feeding tips and ideas for other SLPs and parents....with ideas for picky eaters, pacifier tips, etc.... It has some great information, check it out here:

#12--Usborne books!
First of all, I love Usborne books (and I have a friend who sells them, if you are interested let me know! :))....
Recently I bought this book: Entertaining and Educating Babies and Toddlers...and I LOVE it! The book has really great tips and suggestions for parents (great for SLPs who work with the birth-three population, like me!).
Description of the book from their website: "Children learn more in their first two years than at any other time in their lives, so anyone caring for them has a vital role to play in helping them. This easy-to-use guide is filled with activities and play ideas for every stage of a child's development up to the age of 2 1/2."
Awesome!! :)

#11--Melissa and Doug!
Melissa and Doug is a toy company that makes some of my favorite educational toys/games/puzzles. Check it out! Some of my favorite items include:
The Princess Elise Magnetic Dress Up Set
Pet Sounds Puzzle...but somehow my dog piece is missing and it is very sad indeed!
Band-in-a-Box
Check them out...and enjoy! Their website is a dangerous place for me...so many items I'd love to have for my therapy sessions! :)
